Important Note: If you have purchased an earlier version of The Race Director, do not install Race Director 2010 from this site on the same computer until you are ready to purchase 2010 support ($150). Installing Race Director 2010 from this site will automatically put your system into Demo mode.
To download a demonstration copy of the Windows version of The Race Director, follow the instructions below. Be sure to take note of the requirements section at the end of this section. These instructions are for an initial install of The Race Director. If you have previously installed an earlier version of Race Director, go to Windows Update.
- Download the file 2010full.exe found below directly to your Desktop or to any folder of your choosing on your hard drive. Alternatively, you can choose "Run" directly from the download prompt. This is a very large file - over 20 Meg and will take some time to download.
- After the download completes successfully, run the install by double clicking on the downloaded file. This should result in the installation of the system.
- After the installation is complete, the file 2010full.exe can be deleted.
System Requirements: Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP/Vista/Win 7.
Running the Windows Race Director: From the Start Menu select Programs. On the Programs menu should be a choice called The Race Director. Select the Program from this folder.
Since it is a demonstration version of the software you will be limited to only twenty participants per race.

- Result Entry Practice - We will go through a very thorough process of insuring you are using state of the art finish line procedures. I'll guide you through sorting out how you assign finish line responsibilities to your crew. I'll help you through several finish line practice sessions - to make sure that come race day you have full confidence in how to operate the system.
- Support - Phone and email support for a year. I'll be available via cell phone on race day as well.

Price includes conversion of any participant data available from prior year races. Includes unlimited telephone and e-mail support. Includes changes to the system (within reason) to meet your races specific requirements.

- Download the entire system at no cost. Try out the system to make sure that your race's requirements are met. The only restriction to the demo is the number of participants allowed per race(20).
- Let me know what requirements you have that are not met by the system. There is a good chance that your needs can be satisfied with no additional cost.
- Send me any data you have on participants from prior year or other local races. Your participant master will be built from this data at no additional cost.
- Phone and e-mail support is un-limited. Race day support is available, but must be pre-arranged.
